Battle of Revolax, 27 April 1808
Bulatov and his Russian brigade were entrenched inside the village.
The Russian units consisted of the Perm Regiment à 2 bataillons à 13 fig (1055h) and the Mog(h)ilev Regiment à 1 bataillon à 17 fig (683h), the Russians had also three guns (cal.12).
Possible qu’étaient présents aussi : 91 cosaques (2 figs), 61 hussards de Grodno en 1 escadron (2figs).
Les nombres d’hommes présents sont datés du 12 avril, on peut légitimement en retirer quelques-uns.
In the morning of 27 April the Swedish attacked with two equally strong columns:
The right column was led by Gustav Aminoff : It consisted of two battalions from the Savolax Infantry Regiment, 256h environ (à 3 figs x 2 compagnies), the third battalion from the Savolax Jaeger Regiment 412h (1 bataillon à 3x1 & 2x1), the second battalion of the Carelian Jaeger Corps à 325h (4 figs x 2 compagnies) and two 3-pound guns.
The left column was led by Lieutenant Colonel Adolf Ludwig Christiern and consisted of two battalions from the Savolax Infantry Regiment (idem que ci-dessus), the first battalion from the Savolax Jaegar Regiment (id), the first battalion from the Carelian Jaeger Corps(id), and two 3-pounder guns.
